This is a good direction. Thanks for comments and the proposal. The ZAMM coin (1334160193485309697971829933264346612480800613613) was deployed with its own proposal for the minimal AMM system myself and other contributors want to bring to market (the metadata is the âsingle-pagerâ). ZAMM: as an integrated and highly-efficient launchpad and exchange for Ethereum will help the network scale, and is currently differentiated on this focus. That is to say, we are in a unique position right now. To take opportunity of this position, we should energize support and the community. This has occurred organically and steadily over the past month (and is what I would like to continue to encourage, and why I see ZAMM coin as synonymous with current effort). ZAMM (the AMM) is OS and libre software, and there are already forks. This is good, but one of the truisms that I always found credible in DeFi is that âcommunity cannot be forked.â It is in the interest of the exchange to have a flagship coin that focuses the community and serves as an example of a âgood coinâ. For this reason, as the exchange grows, I think we should accrue value to the ZAMM coin through protocol fees. This might be premature as the exchange should situate itself to grow as fast as possible (IMO) without fee-switch on. An initial and helpful step, with continuing momentum, is to give ZAMM holders more tangible control rights. To begin with, I think ZAMM holders should be able to up/downvote coins listed on the exchange, and help curate and eliminate spam. We can also flesh out proposals to use ZAMM coin to incentivize pools and build a reserve for this purpose. Taking this one step at a time is best, but letâs clarify that yes, we do want to engage in cryptoeconomics and reward early supporters.
Thanks. OK I didnât realise the OG ZAMM was deployed by yourself.
I think adding the fee switch makes sense, IMO far from creating friction this may actually bring attention and more users especially since Uniswap have still not added this feature to their token.
I think this would be viable to add with other important features like VRGDA.
